Project goal
In the middle of Zurich's old town, in the Strehlgasse 7, was he Dixie Store Zurich underwent a comprehensive renovation.
The aim of the project was to transform the store into a modern, elegant and inviting space that combines the charm of the surrounding area with a contemporary design.
Particular focus was on creating a harmonious atmosphere that reflects the identity of the Dixie brand and offers customers a pleasant shopping experience.
At the same time, the requirements for lighting, room layout and functionality should be perfectly met.
Challenges
The project was characterized by the special conditions of the old town location.
On the one hand, they demanded Monument protection and fire protection requirements precise planning and coordination.
Any structural change had to be approved and should not affect the historic character of the building.
On the other hand, the situation in Zurich Old Town logistical challenges.
The narrow lanes and limited accessibility for materials and equipment required careful coordination of all work to minimize environmental disturbances and meet the schedule.

The result is a completely transformed Dixie Store, which impresses with its elegant and timeless design.
