Dixie Store - Locarno

Our task was to convert an aging old town building into a Light-flooded, modern and brand-appropriate retail space to transform.

• The store should have a complete gutting preserved to create a flexible and functional room structure.
• The design should retain the charm of the building and with contemporary interior design connect.
• Particular attention was paid to energy efficiency, therefore a Heat pump with modern air-conditioning technology integrated.
• Implementation had to meet all regulatory requirements, in particular Heritage protection and fire protection requirements.

The implementation of this project was characterized by the special requirements of a Old Town Rehabilitation.

• Die Location in the old town placed high demands on Logistics and construction process. Material deliveries and construction work had to be coordinated precisely so as not to interfere with the narrow streets.
• Die Renovation of the old town building required precise coordination to preserve historic elements while meeting modern building standards.
• Die Integration of energy-efficient systems, in particular the Heat pump and air-conditioning technology, represented a technical challenge that required tailor-made solutions.
• stringency Monument protection and fire protection requirements had to be complied with and coordinated with the authorities.

Thanks to detailed planning and precise implementation, we were able to successfully overcome these challenges.
